Working Principle
The Advanced Digital Video Microscope KCX-147 operates using compound optical magnification combined with digital image acquisition and electronic display technology.
A prepared microscope slide is positioned on the double-layer mechanical stage. Light from the adjustable 3W LED illumination system passes through the specimen and enters the selected objective lens.
The SP Plan Achromatic objective forms a magnified optical image, which is further enlarged through the WF10X eyepiece system for direct observation.
The trinocular optical arrangement provides an imaging path for the digital camera. The camera sensor converts the optical image into electronic image data, which is processed and displayed through the connected Windows-based digital system.
The microscope's coarse and fine focusing controls allow users to adjust image sharpness, while the mechanical stage provides controlled specimen movement.
The digital imaging system supports live viewing, image capture and Full HD video recording. S-EYE software provides supported image observation and documentation functions.
Optical Magnification Combinations
| Objective Lens | Eyepiece | Total Magnification |
|---|
| 4X SP Plan Achromatic | 10X | 40X |
| 10X SP Plan Achromatic | 10X | 100X |
| 40X SP Plan Achromatic | 10X | 400X |
| 100X SP Plan Achromatic Oil | 10X | 1000X |
The digital camera provides electronic image display and recording, while the optical magnification is determined by the microscope's objective and eyepiece combination.
Microscope Compatibility and Usage
The KCX-147 Advanced Digital Video Microscope is designed for observation of compatible prepared biological slides and laboratory specimens.
It can be used in educational institutions, universities, scientific research laboratories, biological laboratories and technical training centers.
The integrated digital imaging system supports compatible display and image documentation workflows through its USB 2.0, HDMI, TF card and Wi-Fi interfaces.
For optimal observation, users should position the specimen correctly, select the appropriate objective lens, adjust LED brightness and use the coarse and fine focusing controls.
The 100X oil immersion objective should be used with suitable immersion oil according to the microscope's operating instructions.
Digital measurement functions should be calibrated using an appropriate stage micrometer before quantitative measurements are relied upon.
